BCIT engaged our team to accelerate their digital evolution by shaping a data‑driven Building Information Modeling (BIM) process. Through in‑depth collaboration with stakeholders from Campus Planning and Facilities, we mapped current practices, uncovered pain points, and identified the strategic opportunities that BIM‑generated data can unlock.
Overall, the work focused on the goal of establishing end‑to‑end data governance and ensuring that BIM data consistently supports defined operational and planning goals.
The engagement culminated in the creation of a comprehensive BIM Requirements framework, purpose‑built to clarify roles, align expectations, and guide implementation. Structured around the ISO 19650 standard, this framework provides BCIT with a foundation on which to build a set of BIM Requirements that support future digital integration and smarter, data‑enabled decision‑making.
