How we help our clients: Design models transformed into a connected, digital‑handover asset set.
We partnered with the District of Saanich on their Fire Hall #2 Project towards the end of the design phase to transform design models into a structured, reliable asset registry. Building on this foundation, we collaborated with the construction team to assign clear responsibilities for uploading required installed‑asset information across all relevant trades. Our team generated upload reports, created user accounts, coordinated responsibilities, and actively monitored progress to ensure consistent, high‑quality data collection using our cloud based BIMFMi interface.
The final deliverable will be a fully consolidated dataset linking every asset to its location, metadata, and supporting documentation, capturing both design intent and installed information. Delivered in a format aligned with District of Saanich requirements and lifecycle needs, this dataset establishes a robust digital handover that supports long‑term asset management from day one.
