Support VGH in the collection and collation of data for transfer to Maximo.

Summit BIM was engaged by Lower Mainland Facilities Management (LMFM) to support the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority in the collection and collation of data required for Maintenance and Operations on the Lions Gate Hospital Power Plant.
Working with the design and construction teams, Summit BIM conducted a model audit to ensure that the data was sufficiently robust to support the required data collection requirements. Namely supporting the association of additional data and documents for onward migration to Maximo. Of fundamental importance was the ability for facility, level and room to be inherently understood by every tracked asset.
With work still in progress, the final deliverable will be the transfer of specific data pieces into Maximo along with the entire data set accessed through our desktop BIMFMi solution.
The Lions Gate Hospital Power Plant Replacement
This new 4600 sq. ft. subterranean power plant replaces the existing plant constructed in 1977, to service the entire Lions Gate Hospital complex. The new power plant contains all-new equipment for steam and hot water generation, along with major mechanical, electrical, gas, water and other systems required.
