Run workshops with stakeholder groups to inform the development of BIM Requirements Specification.
Featured projectHow we help our clients
Summit BIM was retained by Wilfrid Laurier University (WLU) to develop a BIM Specification for the university’s capital projects. Over a three-day period, we conducted multiple workshops with different stakeholder groups, providing an initial overview as to the potential benefits that could be derived and then focusing on specific challenges and issues relating to the delivery and maintenance of WLU capital projects.
Following the workshops, in concert with the university, we developed a BIM Specification comprised of a set of BIM Requirements to support their goals for the data use, focusing on easy, digital access to information and improved processes and protocols to facilitate the delivery of capital projects and mitigate associated risk.
