How to Connect Steel Pipe Sections to Each Other in Revit
August 8, 2017 •

Joining steel pipe in Revit is an easy process.
- Model your structural framing elements as you normally would.
- In a 3d view, click on the Modify tab -> Geometry panel -> Beam/Column Joins Tool
- In the Options bar, you will have filtering options if you only want to see Steel or Wood framing.
- Blue arrows will appear wherever structural framing is joining another element. This will allow you to control which beam has precedence. If you push each beam against each other using this tool, it will clean up automatically as a clean join.
