Summit BIM’s Geraldine Rayner to speak at the buildingSMART International Summit
March 15, 2018 •
Geraldine Rayner, Director of Summit BIM, has been invited to present ‘Handover and Beyond’ at buildingSMART’s International Summit in Paris March 26 – 29.
She will share lessons learned from guiding Owner Operators through the BIM process and managing a smooth digital handover. Geraldine will speak to:
- How to generate a digital data set that relates to the entire facility for its complete lifecycle.
- Making sense of LOi, LOX, LOD, etc. by turning them into a Data and Geometry Specification (DGS).
- Evolving beyond COBie, by retaining the relationships of asset and data established in the DGS within a common digital environment where geometry, data and documents are linked on an instance basis.
